LocalSend is looking for a Communications / PR Assistant to support press relations, content creation, and community management for our globally used open-source file-sharing application. You will join a team of 11-50 employees and help amplify our mission of data privacy, transparency, and digital freedom.
What You'll Do
- Support press and public relations activities.
- Write press releases, blog articles, and social media texts.
- Build and maintain contacts with journalists, media, and influencers.
- Plan and implement national and international communication campaigns.
- Support the organization of interviews, podcasts, and media appearances.
- Maintain and grow our community on LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord.
- Contribute creative ideas for storytelling, brand building, and international PR.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in communications, journalism, media, PR, marketing, or a similar field.
- Passion for language, storytelling, and technology.
- Excellent written expression in German or English (ideally both).
- Creativity, initiative, and reliability.
- Confident handling of digital tools.
Nice to Have
- First experience in PR, editorial, marketing, or social media.
