Jerry.ai is seeking a Communications Associate to join our Organic Growth team and shape how the world sees our company. Reporting to the VP of Content & Organic Growth, you will be responsible for strategic media outreach, data-driven storytelling, internal communications, and content production.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day PR operations across consumer, tech, business, and trade outlets.
- Craft high-impact, data-driven pitches, monitor news cycles, maintain media lists, track coverage, and build relationships with journalists.
- Partner with data journalists and insurance experts to develop media-ready studies by analyzing survey data, identifying narratives, writing headlines, and creating PR assets.
- Collaborate with CX and Product teams to address customer feedback.
- Support culture-building initiatives by drafting internal updates, newsletters, and company-wide messaging.
- Publish and maintain SEO-optimized content in WordPress.
- Conduct keyword research and assist in content planning to align with organic growth strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree, preferably within journalism, communications, PR, or a related field.
- Fast, curious, scrappy, and resourceful work style.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into crisp, compelling stories.
- Organized and able to juggle multiple projects and timelines with urgency.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a newsroom, PR agency, or startup environment.
