Work within a specialist security team focused on protecting critical national infrastructure through the delivery of customer networks, platforms, and systems. Emphasis is placed on technical excellence and robust security practices. This is a full-time, onsite position available in Ipswich or Glasgow.
Responsibilities
- Define technical goals and assign tasks to team members
- Engage with senior management across the organisation, customers, and suppliers to influence resourcing and technical strategy
- Oversee team resourcing, manage site-specific challenges, and resolve operational issues
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to support team development
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical delivery for complex systems
- Demonstrated leadership in project delivery environments
- Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders to define and capture clear requirements
- Strong relationship management abilities with a proactive and positive approach
- Creative problem-solving in technical design and service improvement
- In-depth understanding of transmission networks and network management platforms
- Extensive hands-on experience with field network installation, integration, and testing
- Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical documentation
- Experience in presentation, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring
- Holding DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance is mandatory
- Must have resided in the UK for at least 10 years to qualify for security clearance

Compensation
Competitive salary; £5,000 per annum security clearance allowance paid monthly while holding DV clearance. On-call allowance may apply depending on role requirements.
Work Arrangement
Onsite in Ipswich or Glasgow, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Roles require five days per week in the office. Flexible arrangements such as job share or reduced hours may be considered upon request.
