GE Vernova is hiring a Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning of a combined cycle power plant, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and operational per project specifications. You will be central to GE Vernova's mission to accelerate reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy.
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, and construction teams.
- Lead and supervise commissioning team members and contractors.
- Oversee testing and validation of turbines, generators, HRSGs, and auxiliary systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during commissioning.
- Ensure all commissioning documentation is completed accurately and maintained.
- Prepare progress reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct risk assessments.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to plant operators and the commissioning team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in commissioning within the power generation industry, specifically in combined cycle power plants.
- Strong proven leadership and management of resources and skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and strong organizational skills.
Nice to Have
- Willingness to travel on long term assignment.
- Fluent in English; German is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $114,100.00 - $190,200.00 USD Annual.
