Leica Biosystems is hiring a Commissioning Engineer to lead the installation, start-up, and optimization of Pall Food & Beverage systems at customer sites worldwide. You will ensure delivered performance meets specifications and provide an exceptional customer experience through technical expertise and training.
What You'll Do
- Commission, start up, and optimize Pall F&B systems at customer sites across the globe.
- Ensure installations meet technical specifications and deliver exceptional performance.
- Train customer teams on system operation and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to guarantee successful handover.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, brewing science, or a related technical field.
- Multiple years of experience in commissioning within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Proven knowledge of filtration and separation technologies, ideally in brewing and protein applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 80%.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 32 kg (70lbs).
Nice to Have
- Additional language skills are a strong plus.
- Experience working in multicultural, international project environments.
- Specific commissioning experience in brewing, dairy, or protein processing applications.
- Familiarity with automation platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider Electric.
