LP Insurance Services LLC is hiring a Commercial Lines Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and deliver exceptional service to clients, producers, and colleagues. You will work in a team environment to manage a full range of client services, focusing on cultivating strong relationships and ensuring accuracy in all policy-related work.
What You'll Do
- Develop strong relationships with Commercial Lines Insurance clients and insurance company underwriters.
- Support large and complex commercial lines clients.
- Review all insurance applications, policies, endorsements, cancellations, and audits for accuracy.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all client transactions.
- Investigate matters of significance for clients using your independent judgment.
- Manage and facilitate the full renewal process for assigned clients, including preparing applications, negotiating with underwriters, and creating proposals.
- Assist Sales Executives in identifying new business opportunities by adding coverage lines and recommending services.
- Request referrals and cultivate relationships with new customers.
- Potentially supervise, lead, or mentor other Account Managers and Account Assistants.
What We're Looking For
- An active Property & Casualty Insurance License as required by your state, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days from date of hire.
- Essential knowledge of commercial insurance coverage.
- 2-3 years of Commercial Lines middle market account management experience with a broker.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet specific deadlines.
- Skilled in producing strong written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
