The Boeing Company is hiring a Cloud Migration Lead to shape the future of identity services by establishing a next-generation ecosystem. In this senior technical leadership role, you will modernize and transform capabilities to meet the security needs of a global company. Your work requires deep technical mastery in AWS and Azure, a passion for Infrastructure-as-Code, and the ability to articulate complex security concepts across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end migration of IAM applications and workloads from on-premises data centers to AWS and Azure, ensuring zero-downtime and high availability.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of IAM configurations and security policies.
- Translate technical requirements into business outcomes, collaborating with DevOps, Security, and Compliance teams to maintain a secure cloud posture.
- Partner with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to ensure IAM integrations align with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, training and thought leadership to IAM team members and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex IAM issues across hybrid environments and drive resolution.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IAM-focused cloud work, including hands‑on delivery within Azure and AWS.
- Proven track record migrating large-scale applications, services, or platforms from on‑premises to cloud environments.
- Experience in a 'Lead' or 'Senior' capacity, guiding technical projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, with a deep understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD orchestration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
- Deep technical knowledge of identity standards including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM.
- Experience writing and maintaining automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, security analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Experience with platform domains including server, OS, networking, load balancing, storage, etc.
- Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to influence technical roadmaps, present to executive leadership, and translate complex IAM concepts for diverse audiences.
Nice to Have
- Extensive experience managing identity services within both AWS (IAM Roles, AWS Organizations, Cognito) and Azure (Entra ID/Active Directory, Conditional Access, Managed Identities).
- Experience with Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) and LDAP-based directories.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or Microsoft/AWS security certifications.
- Experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, finance, or healthcare.
- Experience with identity lifecycle management, access governance, privileged access, federation, and directory services.
- Experience with Zero Trust Architecture principles and how to apply them at scale.
- Experience building and maintaining legacy IAM platforms or applications.
