About the Role
The role involves building and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, automating workflows, and supporting deployment pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud-based solutions across development, staging, and production environments
- Maintain system reliability, scalability, and security across cloud platforms
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with cloud infrastructure
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in distributed systems
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents with minimal downtime
- Optimize cloud resource usage to balance cost and performance
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support
- Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Evaluate and integrate new cloud technologies and services
- Work closely with security teams to enforce access controls and encryption
- Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure forecasting
Nice to Have
- Cloud certification from a major provider (e.g., AWS Certified, GCP Professional)
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Background in security engineering or compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd
- Knowledge of data storage and database systems in cloud environments
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities
- Exposure to FinTech or high-availability service domains
