Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud systems on AWS platforms.
- Develop cloud architectures following AWS-recommended patterns across networking, compute, storage, and security domains.
- Automate infrastructure setup and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
- Continuously monitor cloud environments to optimize performance, reduce costs, and strengthen security posture.
- Support application rollouts and CI/CD workflows through close coordination with development, DevOps, and security teams.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans.
- Ensure cloud operations comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineering team members.
- Track emerging AWS technologies and suggest improvements or adoption of new services where beneficial.
