Responsibilities
- Determine and apply the most effective cloud solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Build, configure, and deploy scalable and modular cloud architectures
- Gather stakeholder objectives and communicate technical requirements to development teams
- Enhance and automate processes for configuration management, provisioning, deployment, and software releases
- Review and evaluate peer-developed code, conduct testing, and interpret outcomes
- Maintain system integrity and resilience against cyber threats
- Diagnose technical issues, conduct root cause investigations, and deliver software patches and updates
- Collaborate with software engineers and DevSecOps personnel to ensure adherence to development standards and functional accuracy
- Support enterprise cloud platforms and infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code methods, including automated server and network setup, large-scale software rollouts, and system monitoring
- Ensure data storage and processing operations comply with organizational security policies and industry best practices
- Document current system states, assess gaps, and generate deliverables outlining improvement options and strategic recommendations
- Detect, evaluate, and correct infrastructure weaknesses and application deployment failures
- Function as a hands-on contributor while guiding and mentoring less experienced team members
- Design and deploy technical solutions and suggest enhancements for ongoing service optimization
- Deliver periodic progress reports and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with colleagues

- Applicants near the Washington, DC area may be required to attend in-person sessions in Bethesda, MD roughly once per month
