The Oregon Department of Human Services is hiring a Cloud BI & DevOps Enablement Manager (IT Application Development Manager 2). In this role, you will oversee the development and ongoing operations of the organization's Cloud-First initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with other Technology Platform teams and partner with various state agencies to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based IT solutions that support the shared programs of ODHS and OHA.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the development and ongoing operations of the organization's Cloud-First initiatives.
- Collaborate with other Technology Platform & OIS Technical Teams and build partnerships with various state agencies.
- Deliver IT solutions that support shared programs, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency in cloud-based environments.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and IT leadership.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST, or CIS Controls.
- Six (6) years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience OR Three (3) years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT-related field.
Nice to Have
- Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge in serverless computing, microservices, and API management.
- Leadership experience in an Agile/DevOps-driven IT environment.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of Power BI, data visualization, and cloud analytics solutions.

Team & Environment
This role acts on the authority of the IT Director and is part of the Technology Platform - Cloud BI and DevOps Enablement (TP-CBDE) team.
