Neighbors Bank is hiring a Closing Specialist

Neighbors Bank is looking for a Closing Specialist to ensure every closing document is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time in the final stretch of the home loan journey. You'll own the final checkpoint before closing, reviewing details and solving last-minute issues for a smooth customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Review and audit all loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Draft closing documents and assemble complete closing packages.
• Work closely with team members and third parties to coordinate title work and ensure accurate Closing Disclosures (CDs).
• Collaborate with Loan Officers, Loan Coordinators, and Underwriters to clear final conditions.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues quickly to keep files on track and timelines intact.
• Stay up to date on guidelines, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1-year experience working in mortgage operations.
• Experience working with disclosures and closing documentation.
• Familiarity with borrower pipelines, regulatory timelines, and internal communications.
• Highly organized with a love for administrative work with clear expectations and deadlines.
• Ability to embrace repetition and understand that process is the path to success.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both in writing and over the phone.
• Ability to stay calm and focused when things get busy or timelines get tight.
• Can manage your own time and stay productive in a fully remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with multiple loan products (FHA, Conventional, and/or USDA).

Team & Environment

You'll collaborate closely with Loan Officers, Loan Coordinators, and Underwriters to clear final conditions and ensure a seamless closing process.

• Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000/yr

This is a fully remote position open to candidates in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA (all counties except DeKalb and Fulton), ID, IN, IA, KS, MS, MO, MT, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA.
