Role Overview
As a Closing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the final phase of the mortgage process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant. This fully remote position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to deadlines, and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals.
You’ll be responsible for reviewing loan files, preparing closing packages, and coordinating with internal and external partners to confirm all requirements are met before funding. Your work directly supports a seamless experience for borrowers and stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine loan documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to closing
- Prepare and finalize closing disclosures and related paperwork
- Coordinate with title agencies and internal teams to verify conditions are satisfied
- Collaborate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Coordinators to resolve last-minute issues
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and investor guidelines
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and partners
- Maintain consistent productivity during high-volume periods
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of experience in mortgage operations, such as processing or disclosure preparation. Familiarity with FHA, USDA, and Conventional loan types is a plus.

Work Environment
This role operates remotely within specified states and follows a standard Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time. The organization supports a flexible, remote-first culture that emphasizes accountability, precision, and consistent follow-through.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 annually, which includes base pay and performance incentives. Top performers have the opportunity to exceed this range based on quality, consistency, and volume of work.
