About the Role
The coordinator will oversee daily operations of clinical studies across various sites, ensuring data integrity, regulatory documentation, and consistent implementation of research protocols.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate clinical trial activities across multiple research locations
- Ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory standards
- Manage timelines and milestones for multi-site study execution
- Serve as primary point of contact between sites and central research team
- Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits
- Verify accuracy and completeness of clinical data collection
- Prepare and maintain regulatory documents and study files
- Support recruitment strategies and enrollment tracking
- Train site personnel on study procedures and protocols
- Monitor adverse event reporting and safety documentation
- Coordinate with IRBs and regulatory agencies for site approvals
- Ensure proper handling and tracking of investigational materials
- Facilitate communication during study team meetings and calls
- Identify and resolve operational issues across sites
- Maintain detailed records of site performance and communications
- Assist in the development of study tools and data collection forms
- Verify source documentation against case report forms
- Support audits and inspections at clinical sites
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice guidelines
- Track and report study progress to project leadership
