Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner to step into a pivotal leadership role within our Gynaecology service. You will lead expert practice in the Gynaecology Assessment Unit (GAU) and Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC) at Middlemore Hospital, shaping the future of acute gynaecology and early pregnancy care.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced assessment and decision‑making for early pregnancy complications (<19+6 weeks) and acute gynaecology presentations from ED.
- Coordinate day-to-day GAU/EPAC operations.
- Strengthen pathways between ED and Women’s Health.
- Drive quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Make a meaningful impact on the care and experience of our waahine/women.
What We're Looking For
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
- Minimum of 5 years recent Women’s Health experience in New Zealand.
- Senior Nurse Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP).
- Relevant postgraduate qualification or a commitment to undertake one.
