The Clinical Application Specialist at Fresenius Medical Care North America will support customers across the West and South zones in India by delivering clinical expertise and education on acute renal therapies. This role emphasizes bedside clinical support, educational programming, and maximizing equipment utilization for critical care clients.
What You'll Do
- Conduct customer coverage activities, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers across two assigned zones, covering a total of 40 customers (20 customers per zone).
- Lead clinical discussions and provide bedside clinical support to address customer requirements.
- Understand clinical needs and ensure effective clinical engagement beyond sales objectives.
- Optimize the utilization of equipment by enabling customers to use the full potential of the machines.
- Educate interventionists and nephrologists on clinical applications, protocols, and best practices.
- Plan and execute clinical programs and educational sessions for customers, including large group engagements.
- Maintain strong technical and clinical knowledge of company products and consumables to provide accurate guidance and support.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in the dialysis segment
- Mandatory hands-on experience in CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clinical and business stakeholders
- Willingness to travel extensively, with approximately 50% travel required for the role
- Ability to support business and sales teams through clinical and technical expertise
- Hands-on clinical experience with a strong focus on clinical support activities rather than pricing or commercial negotiations
- Availability to provide backend and remote support, including extended and flexible working hours as per business requirements
Nice to Have
- Educational background in Biomedical Engineering
- Candidates with certification or experience as a Dialysis Technician
