The Clinical Application Specialist will serve healthcare providers across the West and South regions of India, focusing on deepening clinical engagement and advancing the use of dialysis technologies. With a primary emphasis on patient care and clinical excellence, this role supports critical care teams through education, hands-on guidance, and technical expertise in ICU settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and lead clinical training sessions for nephrologists, intensivists, and nursing staff.
- Provide direct bedside support to address real-time clinical challenges and improve therapy delivery.
- Engage with 40 healthcare facilities—20 in each zone—to assess clinical needs and promote effective use of dialysis equipment.
- Ensure customers fully utilize device capabilities through tailored education and ongoing technical guidance.
- Develop and conduct clinical workshops, both one-on-one and in group formats, to share best practices and protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dialysis therapies, products, and consumables to support accurate, evidence-based recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must have 4–5 years of direct experience in dialysis, including hands-on work with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). A background in clinical support—rather than commercial negotiation—is essential. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate with medical and sales teams, and a commitment to flexible scheduling, including remote and after-hours support.
Extensive travel—approximately 50%—is expected across Tier 1 cities in the assigned regions. A degree in Biomedical Engineering is preferred, and certification or experience as a Dialysis Technician will be considered an advantage.
Work Environment
This position operates locally within India, covering major urban centers including Mumbai, Indore, Bangalore, Chennai, and Visakhapatnam. Work hours are flexible and aligned with clinical and business needs. The role thrives in a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and integrity in advancing kidney care.
