Henry Ford Health is seeking a Clinic Service Representative to provide vital administrative support for our Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Sports Medicine departments. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from check-in through discharge.
What You'll Do
- Follow standard operating procedures for all patient registration activities.
- Perform patient reception, including face-to-face check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle preregistration, insurance verification, and cash collections.
- Perform chart reconciliation and manage patient discharge tasks.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to perform calculations, complete forms, and extensively utilize a computer information system.
- Demonstrated skill in working with detailed information.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact over the telephone and in person with patients, visitors, and clinic staff.
- The ability to perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner to meet clinic and patient needs.
- The ability to discuss general responsibilities and multitask effectively with patients.
