HCS Hilb Group of New York is hiring a Client Account Manager to provide critical support for our clients' payroll and benefits needs. This is a remote position reporting to our agency in Cranston, RI, where you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely service while maintaining our high standards of data integrity.
What You'll Do
- Process client payrolls for weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly cycles accurately and on time.
- Run special off-cycle payrolls as requested by clients.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email regarding payroll and benefits, escalating issues when necessary.
- Provide timely and accurate benefits administration, including enrollments, invoice reconciliation, terminations, and COBRA.
- Perform data entry and maintenance of client information in ADP payroll systems (General Ledger, Paid Time Off).
- Input benefit administration data directly on carriers' websites.
- Maintain client folders and review new employee packets.
- Keep electronic client files organized on the firm's internal hard drive.
- Implement client system upgrades (e.g., from RUN to WFN) and add new company codes.
- Ensure all procedures comply with the firm's HIPAA policy.
- Enter work into the internal tracking system.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
What We're Looking For
- At least five (5) years' experience in payroll processing.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and analytical abilities.

- Personable with strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Willingness and flexibility to assist with urgent issues that may fall outside your immediate scope.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree (relevant experience may be substituted).
- Experience with ADP PayX, ADP Workforce Now, and HRB.
