CHS Inc. is hiring a part-time Store Clerk for our Cenex Zip Trip convenience store location in Lennox, SD. You will play a key role in ensuring customers have a positive and efficient shopping experience through excellent service and daily store operations.

What You'll Do

Provide excellent and professional customer service.
Greet customers promptly and courteously.
Assist customers with browsing inventory and checking out items at the counter.
Perform cashier responsibilities including accepting payments and issuing receipts.
Display and organize products for easy customer location.
Maintain store appearance through dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise.
Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
Monitor customers to assist in loss prevention.
Assist with the preparation of displays and promotions.
Authorize gas station pump payments.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies.
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct unsafe actions or conditions.

What We're Looking For

Knowledge of retail, retail merchandising, and customer service.
Must meet the minimum age requirement.

Nice to Have

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to work on computers with MS Office Suite.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Basic math and computer skills to operate store equipment such as cash registers and time/record keeping systems.
