Netflix is seeking a Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. You will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor, performing a variety of duties for C&W Services according to established standards and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other interior surfaces.
- Use light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines.
- Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo when directed.
- Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces.
- Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors and partitions, and specified windows.
- Wash glass and trim at entrance doors; spot clean interior walls as appropriate.
- Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.
- Monitor for issues like clogged urinals and lights out, reporting them to supervisors.
- Collect building trash daily and place it in designated collection areas.
- Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers.
- Sweep or shovel snow from steps, walkways, and sidewalks as directed.
- Perform periodic work such as high dusting, polishing, and wall washing.
What We're Looking For
- Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
- Ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to use a portable vacuum cleaner (backpack style).
- Attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, strong organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
