Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Team Lead - Worker's Compensation. In this role, you will supervise the operation of multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for workers compensation claims, providing technical direction and monitoring individual claim activities. What You'll Do
- Supervise multiple teams of examiners and/or technical operations colleagues.
- Identify and advise management of trends, problems, and issues; recommend course of action.
- Provide technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
- Compile, review, and analyze management reports and take appropriate action.
- Perform quality review on claims in compliance with audit, contract, and quality standards.
- Support the organization's quality program(s).
- Travel as required.
- Administer company personnel policies and follow staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans; conduct performance discussions.
- Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.
What We're Looking For
- Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two (2) years claims supervisor experience.
- Licenses as required.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Professional certifications as applicable to line of business.
Team & Environment
You will supervise multiple teams with a wide span of control, including a minimum of seven technical operations colleagues. The role involves supervising examiners and technical staff for workers compensation clients and reports to management.
