• Creates planning and design documents specific to the engineering field.
• Oversees the work of assistant and associate professional staff, as well as technical staff; may supervise junior staff.
• Conducts process design calculations, prepares cost estimates, and performs economic analyses to evaluate different options.
• Defines project scope, develops project schedules, prepares initiation documents, and manages budget reviews and progress reports.
• Collaborates with other teams, handles design aspects of projects, assigns design tasks to team members, maintains project records, communicates with clients, and attends client meetings.
• Leads the creation of technical reports, memos, and summaries to clearly communicate findings to clients and internal teams.
• Acts as the project manager for various projects.
• Works with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and client-satisfying project completion.
• Supports marketing and business development efforts and prepares project proposals.
