Prematch is partnering with Citizant to find a Senior Systems Software Developer for a 100% remote position. You will develop, maintain, and support advanced software systems for a government client, focusing on building a fully integrated infrastructure and facilitating CI/CD processes to minimize risk.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop and maintain complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code and configurations in accordance with best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement systems that meet all functional and security requirements and align with business objectives.
• Ensure the AD production baseline is maintained with accurate software configuration management across multiple releases.
• Develop and implement a fully integrated systems infrastructure, complete with related management processes.
• Actively support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) initiatives, ensuring seamless integration from end-to-end in the software development and deployment process.
• Perform upgrading configurations, delivery automation, and backlog grooming sessions.
• Minimize program critical risk exposure and ensure that technical solutions are safe, secure, extensible, and scalable.
• Establish and document standard operating procedures for both technical integration and broader project or program activities.

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience in software/system design, development, and maintenance with a strong focus on systems software.
• Demonstrated experience in developing software solutions using Java, including Java EE/SE, JSP, JSF, and Hibernate.
• Proven understanding of the ability to design, develop, and integrate web services using service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles.
• Experience with Oracle 10g/11g environments and Oracle Real Application Clusters.
• Experience implementing middleware rules engines such as Drools.
• Expertise in implementing continuous integration and deployment processes with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD pipeline, and automated testing techniques.
• Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Proven experience with cloud-based development and deployment and API containerization technologies like Docker and OpenShift.
• Experience in implementing cyber security policies, procedures, and best practices, including understanding the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active Public Trust/MBI or have the ability to obtain one.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databases, including Oracle 10g/11g environments and Oracle Real Application Clusters.
• Experience implementing middleware rules engines such as Drools.
• Proven experience with cloud-based development and deployment, and API containerization technologies like Docker and OpenShift.
