About the Role

This role involves leading kitchen operations at a remote site, ensuring high-quality food production, compliance with safety standards, and effective team coordination within a structured shift rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations in a remote location
  • Prepare and deliver meals for diverse dietary requirements
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage inventory and stock control systems
  • Supervise kitchen staff and support team development
  • Maintain accurate production and waste records
  • Implement standardized recipes and portion controls
  • Respond to client and team feedback on food quality
  • Conduct regular equipment and facility inspections
  • Support health and safety compliance across food operations
  • Assist in menu planning and seasonal changes
  • Ensure adherence to brand and service standards
  • Coordinate with supply chain for timely deliveries
  • Minimize food waste through efficient practices
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols

Compensation

DIDO/FIFO with 2:1 roster, based in Darwin with remote site deployment

Part of a structured culinary team within a remote operational site, reporting to site management

Position based in Darwin with rotations to remote site locations

Roster Details

2:1 work rotation – two weeks on, one week off

Employment Type

Permanent full-time position with FIFO/DIDO conditions
