VSolvit is seeking a meticulous Charge Posting Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely entry of clinical charges into our practice management system. This role is critical for compliant claim submission, with a primary focus on navigating the complexities of Workers' Compensation billing in a multi-specialty environment.
What You'll Do
- Work within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to accurately enter daily clinical charges.
- Ensure all charges comply with state-specific Workers' Compensation fee schedules and reporting guidelines.
- Validate supporting documentation and select the correct payer for each claim.
- Apply proper medical codes and modifiers to ensure claim accuracy and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in medical charge posting within a practice management system, ideally in a multi-specialty setting.
- Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation billing processes and state-specific regulations.
- Expertise in medical coding, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS, and the correct application of modifiers.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workflow in a remote environment.
