Department Overview
At Motorola Solutions, we craft technologies our customers call their lifeline. Our platforms in communications, software, video, and services empower customers to work safely and efficiently. Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs and manufactures cutting-edge video analytics, network video management software, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions. Our technologies protect thousands of sites worldwide — from school campuses and transportation systems to healthcare centers, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, and beyond.Reporting to Avigilon's Regional Sales Director, the Channel Sales Executive, Video will serve as the primary contact for video solutions selling initiatives with Avigilon Channel Partners in the assigned territory, proactively managing relationships and deploying strategic sales actions to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop new business with end customers through our partner channel
Meet or exceed assigned revenue and project quotas for Avigilon products and services
Promote and market Avigilon's products within the assigned territory and named accounts
Support sales activities by creating, nurturing, and responding to product opportunities
Create and manage a healthy sales funnel
Conduct sales calls, schedule local promotional work, and track sales activities
Focus on new account development
Collaborate with vertical marketing teams to identify end-user engagement opportunities
Lead video and analytics solution development efforts addressing end-user needs
Use all available prospecting tools daily to drive success
Achieve "Trusted Advisor" status with customers and Channel Partners
Perform required sales forecasting
Maintain comprehensive CRM data for account development
Qualifications:
3+ years of sales experience
Customer-interfacing background preferred
Physical security solutions experience a plus
Experience with channel strategies and initiatives
Strong technical acumen and product communication skills
Ability to accurately forecast revenue across all timeframes
Proven track record of sales results and relationship building
Deep understanding of go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Strong time management in complex, fast-paced environments
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets
Exceptional presentation capabilities
High-level software learning and demonstration skills
Ability to travel within territory
Established client base in assigned territory is advantageous
Location & Travel Requirements:
Up to 50% travel within territory (no air travel anticipated)
Preferred candidates in Southern MD or DC area
Target Base Salary Range: $80,000- $90,000 USD
