About the Role

TensorOps is looking for a Channel Sales Engineer to join our growing team. You will provide crucial technical product expertise to our sales team and potential customers, helping to shape first impressions and elevate our customers' security posture. You'll be a key part of a highly collaborative group focused on partner success.

What You'll Do

  • Equip regional reseller partners with the technical knowledge to sell, deploy, and support solutions through hands-on training, workshops, and demonstrations.
  • Act as the primary technical advisor for a set of reseller sellers, joining customer calls, scoping proof-of-concept evaluations, and handling technical objections.
  • Serve as a liaison between partners and internal product teams, providing feedback on customer needs and feature gaps.
  • Build and maintain tactical sales collateral like decks and battle cards that help partners articulate product value.
  • Onboard new reseller partners, including setting up demo environments and validating first deployments.
  • Support regional events, roadshows, and joint customer engagements to drive pipeline and close business.
  • Help partners win deals through hands-on demonstrations, proofs of value, and direct technical support.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years in a channel-facing technical role with hands-on sales cycle support.
  • Comfort running demos, proof-of-concepts, and end-to-end customer-facing technical work.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple business value.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and attacker tradecraft.
  • Direct experience working with VARs.
  • Strong field sales engineering experience, customer-facing presence, and ability to handle a high volume of tactical activity.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience helping smaller partners establish a repeatable sales process.
  • Threat analysis background and familiarity with the Microsoft security stack.
  • SIEM or log aggregation experience across multiple toolsets.
  • Hands-on experience in a SOC or with incident response.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Sr. Director, Sales Engineering and work within a fast-moving, operational, and hands-on environment focused on direct partner and customer interaction.

  • On-target earnings: $155,000 to $175,000 plus equity.
