About the Role

HP is seeking a CG and Animation Engineer to develop industrial design concepts for physical hardware products and systems. In this role, you will implement design plans, lead innovation efforts, and manage multiple concurrent projects.

What You'll Do

  • Design industrial concepts for hardware products and systems based on established principles and strategy.
  • Translate new ideas and updates into sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and models.
  • Develop and implement design plans, specifications, and reusable design elements.
  • Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with management and internal and outsourced partners to coordinate activities and recommend product improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks while interacting with internal and external partners.
  • Work with stakeholders to maintain and improve facility system models impacting new technology introduction.
  • Lead a project team of designers and partners to develop holistic design solutions for moderate to complex projects.
  • Represent the industrial design team throughout larger and more complex development projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.

What We're Looking For

  • A four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
  • 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in industrial design and development of physical hardware products and systems.

Nice to Have

  • An advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
