The CG and Animation Engineer leads industrial design efforts for physical hardware products and systems, driving concept development, project leadership, team mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative and user-centered design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Designs industrial design solutions for hardware products and systems in alignment with established principles, strategy, and guidelines.
- Transforms design concepts and product updates into sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and models.
- Develops and applies industrial design plans, specifications, changes, and reusable components for new and existing products.
- Leads and coordinates innovation and design activities to achieve optimal design outcomes.
- Partners with management and internal or external design and development teams to align design efforts, assess concepts, and recommend improvements.
- Manages concurrent projects and maintains effective communication with internal and external partners, contractors, and vendors.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to build, maintain, and enhance facility system models that support technology integration.
- Leads project teams of designers and development partners to deliver comprehensive, high-quality design solutions for moderately complex initiatives.
- Represents the industrial design function across all stages of large and complex design and development programs.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience demonstrating strong competence.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in industrial design and development of physical hardware products and systems, or a related area; or an advanced degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Compensation
$105,050 to $161,800 USD annually. Additional compensation through equity and performance bonuses.
