Responsibilities
- Track and assess economic, political, and business developments across Central America and the Caribbean
- Produce forecasts for macroeconomic indicators and conduct continuous economic evaluation
- Develop clear, high-impact research reports tailored to senior-level audiences
- Present research findings directly to executive clients with clarity and precision
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Economics, Business, Regional Studies, or International Relations, plus a Master’s degree in a related field such as international economics
- 0 to 1 year of research experience in academic, nonprofit, or corporate settings
- Proven understanding of macroeconomic principles through coursework or prior work
- Native or professional proficiency in Spanish required
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Latin American region through education, work, or personal experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and research diverse topics, including unfamiliar subjects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Collaborative attitude with a focus on team success
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Central America and the Caribbean region is advantageous, though not mandatory
- Experience or exposure to private sector operations is beneficial
