Join 1016 Meijer Great Lakes LP as a Cashier - Systems, where you'll be the welcoming presence at checkout and the key problem solver for technical issues. This role combines customer interaction with hands-on technology support to keep our front-end operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks efficiently.
Create positive and lasting customer experiences through service.
Complete transactions, handle money responsibly, and maintain accuracy for point of sale purchases.
Use good eye contact and body language, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude.
Handle customer questions adequately and appropriately.
Build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits.
Troubleshoot POS/register issues including scanners, printers, and pin pads.
Collaborate with Service Coordinators and Leaders.
Escalate technical issues when needed.

What We're Looking For

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Desire to work with customers.
Good verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Friendly outgoing attitude.
Ability to operate cashier register system.
