Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate, non-medical personal care and supervision within our Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). In this role, you will support residents with their activities of daily living while actively promoting their dignity, safety, and independence, all in strict compliance with California Title 22 regulations.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide incontinence care and assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility devices
- Support residents with eating and maintaining proper hydration
- Assist with the self-administration of medications and document this assistance accurately
- Observe and report any side effects or medication concerns
- Follow all facility medication policies and physician orders
- Provide continuous supervision as required by individual resident care plans
- Monitor for fall risks and behavioral changes, responding promptly to emergencies
- Follow established infection control and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate daily care logs and report changes in condition to supervisors
- Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
- Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and encourage participation in activities
- Support residents' independence and overall quality of life
What We're Looking For
- Must complete RCFE Initial Training (minimum 10 hours before independent work) and dementia care training; this training is provided upon hire if not already completed
- Must complete annual continuing education (20 hours per year), provided upon hire
- CPR and First Aid certification
- A clear criminal background check (DOJ & FBI Live Scan)

- $500 Hiring Bonus for Full-Time positions; $250 for Part-Time positions
