Capernaum Division Coordinator Summary: Develop and sustain Capernaum ministries according to organizational leadership objectives. Ministry Functions: Spiritual Development– "Following Jesus." Includes: Prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and church relationships. • Maintain commitment to understanding Scripture • Seek church community participation • Actively engage in organizational spiritual community • Lead spiritual development for teams • Create annual personal growth plan Leadership Development – "Equipping leaders, committee and staff." • Partner with senior leadership to advance ministry • Collaborate with regional directors for strategic planning • Recruit and support Capernaum staff • Maintain communication with supervisors • Provide startup assistance to new areas • Organize regular training events • Foster collaborative ministry environment Resource Development – "Fueling the ministry." • Raise personal support • Manage budgetary compliance • Engage potential donors • Implement financial procedures • Ensure fiscal responsibility Direct Ministry– "Proclaiming and modeling." • Serve on Divisional Leadership Team • Oversee camping operations • Ensure disability-inclusive programming • Maintain camping excellence • Support faith growth opportunities Ministry Support – "Taking care of business" • Manage reporting systems • Maintain ministry directories • Uphold professional standards • Develop reporting mechanisms • Communicate effectively • Create strategic plans Training: • Attend staff retreats • Pursue professional development • Participate in spiritual enrichment programs Education: College degree preferred Qualifications: • Christ-centered relationship • Organizational understanding • Leadership experience • Gospel communication skills • Disability awareness • Strong interpersonal abilities • Strategic planning expertise • Self-motivated approach • Travel flexibility • Confidentiality maintenance
