Join Fannie Mae as a Technology Program Associate starting in July 2026. In this role, you’ll apply your technical skills to help make homeownership and affordable housing accessible. You will work with innovative technology on diverse teams, receive structured training, and build a network of peers and experts.
What You'll Do
- Work with innovative technology on diverse teams that foster originality and collaboration.
- Develop solutions that tackle big challenges in housing, such as digitizing antiquated processes, advancing equity in mortgage finance, and creating climate resiliency.
- Participate in a comprehensive 12-week technology upskilling program covering full stack training.
- After training, be assigned to a team within Fannie Mae's Chief Operating Office (Chief Information Office, Chief Data Office, or Chief Strategy and Transformation Office).
- Deliver innovative technology solutions and services that enable Fannie Mae to help make homeownership and affordable housing accessible.
What We're Looking For
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Bachelor's or master's degree obtained between December 2025 and Spring 2026.
- All Technology Associates will begin in July 2026.
Nice to Have
- Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher).
- Computer Sciences and Engineering majors preferred. Other technical majors considered based on technical experience and aptitude.
- Strong understanding of software development and programming in languages such as Java, JavaScript, C++, or Python.
- Proven ability solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with various technical frameworks and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with databases, software design and development in a test-driven environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to contribute to a team atmosphere.
- Self-starter, strong business acumen, and results focused.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
