A. O. Smith Corp. is hiring a CAD Operator to support engineering development by creating and updating drawings and documentation for fabricated, assembled, and purchased parts. You will use CAD and other equipment to develop accurate, complete designs.
What You'll Do
- Make standard changes to engineering drawings.
- Complete CAD work as directed by an engineer or designer.
- Complete fairly basic designs and drawings.
- Participate as secondary CAD person on advanced projects as experience is gained.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in Engineering Graphics, Engineering Design, or a related field.
- 1+ years of related work experience or training.
Nice to Have
- A good understanding of data management or PLM.
Technical Stack
- Basic fundamentals of 3D modeling (SolidWorks, ProEngineer, or other).
- Good working knowledge of the Windows platform, including basic commands and the file system.
