Salesforce is hiring a Business Systems & Data Analyst IV to join our Corporate Services division. In this hybrid role based in Buffalo, NY, you will provide advanced support to the corporate procurement function by developing reports and dashboards, analyzing complex data, and driving key process improvements across multiple projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop and produce mid-to-high complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets.
- Perform complex analysis to support business decisions across multiple disciplines.
- Analyze large data sets to provide meaningful insights and communicate findings to management.
- Drive continuous improvement of existing processes and develop new processes as needed.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of new projects to achieve business objectives.
- Prepare functional specifications, test plans, and test cases for assigned projects.
- Serve as the functional lead on moderately complex projects for your assigned application(s).
- Meet with business clients to discuss requested changes and document functional specifications.
- Consult as a subject matter expert on how applications may be impacted by enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Participate in and document data mapping for system integrations and conversion projects.
- Monitor functional specifications and change requests to ensure projects stay within scope and meet standards.
- Coordinate post-implementation activities by gathering feedback and resolving issues.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
- Maintain internal control standards, including the timely implementation of audit points.
What We're Looking For
- A combined minimum of 5 years' higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, lateral thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software packages.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Experience creating visualizations in Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience using SQL.
- Subject matter expertise in the business area with knowledge of the application/system being supported.
- Capability to work on multiple projects of a moderately complex to complex nature.
- Ability to effectively use project management, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
- A good understanding of the Bank’s application framework and its terminology.
- Ability to effectively present to all levels of management and coordinate between applications and business units.
- Ability to multitask, work autonomously and in a team, recognize project milestones, and recommend solutions.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- A growing understanding of Bank acquisition methodology or relevant conversion experience.
