Responsibilities
- Collaborate with resilience leadership to create, structure, and lead business continuity and crisis management simulations.
- Take full ownership of designated exercises, managing all phases from initial planning to post-event review and follow-up actions.
- Develop and lead simulations that test the effectiveness of response plans, decision-making protocols, and escalation workflows.
- Create scenario-based exercises aligned with the organization’s risk profile and resilience goals.
- Ensure scenarios evolve in complexity to reflect growing organizational maturity in crisis preparedness.
- Design exercises that validate key procedures, communication pathways, and response coordination.
- Run multiple simulations concurrently with limited supervision while ensuring consistent quality standards.
- Evaluate exercise outcomes, document findings, and produce detailed after-action reports.
- Monitor and support resolution of identified gaps in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Assist in organizing and executing disaster recovery testing, including reporting and identifying improvement areas.
- Provide support during incident response activations as needed.
- Contribute to enhancing the organization’s overall resilience through feedback and process refinement.
- Work closely with cross-functional groups such as Information Security, Governance/Risk/Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management to align resilience strategies.
Compensation
For U.S. candidates: base salary range $86,000 - $135,000 per year with bonuses, equity grants, and comprehensive benefits package. For Canada: base salary range $95,000 - $125,000 CAD per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits
