Orion Innovation is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to generate strategic insights from large data volumes through exploratory analysis and visualization. You will play a key role in facilitating data-driven business decisions, with a particular focus on ecommerce and digital channels.
What You'll Do
- Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and implement interactive, business-oriented dashboards and reports.
- Develop, automate, and monitor analysis and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and efficient use.
- Present relevant findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI infrastructure and analytical processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or engineering in Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Intermediate English minimum proficiency.
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- 2+ years of data visualization experience with Looker or Tableau, with the ability to create clear, adaptable, interactive dashboards.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), including complex queries, optimization, and automation.
- Data analysis experience with Python (Pandas) or R (dplyr) for script creation, basic statistical analysis, and task automation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Analytics, interpreting key web metrics.
- Business knowledge in ecommerce and digital channels, familiarity with key KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
Nice to Have
- Certification in Google Analytics 4.
- Experience with cloud databases like AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and experience using Jira.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts like Star Schema and Dimensional Modeling.
- Desirable certifications: Google Analytics 4, advanced visualization, or statistical analysis courses.
- Desirable proficiency in technical reading and writing in English.
