AmeriHealth Caritas, a mission-driven organization passionate about helping people get care, stay well, and build healthy communities, is looking for a Business Insights Analyst Senior. Reporting to the Director of Business Insights, you will provide consultative analytics support throughout the lifecycle of Value Optimization initiatives, from ideation to performance tracking.
What You'll Do
- Pull data to identify addressable spend and support the ideation of new business initiatives.
- Estimate return-on-investment by analyzing potential impact, claims data, and related operational data.
- Create written business cases summarizing sizing analyses in alignment with audit requirements.
- Provide recommendations on initiative prioritization and socialize findings with cross-functional leadership.
- Track performance of launched initiatives, developing reports on savings and operational KPIs.
- Complete ad hoc analyses to summarize initiative impacts for stakeholder discussions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Research, or a closely related field.
- At least eight (8)+ years of work experience in the healthcare industry.
- At least five (5)+ years of healthcare analytics experience.
- Command of business knowledge, able to synthesize multiple analytic insights into a cohesive narrative.
- Broad knowledge of the healthcare payer value chain and medical cost levers.
- Ability to develop compelling documentation to convey insights and recommendations for a leadership audience.
- Skill in scoping analysis, designing a research approach, and quality-checking results.
- Ability to frame complex business problems for structured analysis.
- Competency in SQL, Databases, Python, SAS, and statistical analysis.
- Ability to translate complex data and analytic results into business insights.
- Ability to cross-functionally manage and coordinate teams.
