Paired is hiring a Business Development Manager for Packaging Company (US-Based, Remote)

About the Role

Paired is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle from strategy and lead generation through to closing deals. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a leadership role with significant responsibility for driving the company's growth towards its revenue goals.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, driving the company towards the $30M annual revenue milestone.
  • Oversee and coach the SDR function to maximize qualified lead generation, pipeline velocity, and overall outreach effectiveness.
  • Personally lead the full sales cycle for strategic, high-value prospective clients, focusing on complex deals, contract negotiations, and securing long-term partnerships.
  • Design and execute a scalable, data-driven sales strategy.
  • Implement rigorous reporting on pipeline health, sales metrics, and accurate revenue forecasts to inform executive decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to optimize lead quality and with Operations to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery.
  • Proactively research and identify high-potential new markets, industry verticals, and global opportunities to diversify and expand the company's client base.

What We're Looking For

  • A track record of 5+ years in B2B sales leadership, with verifiable success in managing a quota and consistently exceeding multi-million dollar revenue goals.
  • Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and scaling a sales team (including SDRs) and implementing effective sales training programs.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, particularly with mid- to senior-level decision-makers (Director/VP/C-Suite).
  • Highly organized, with expertise in utilizing CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable operating autonomously in a global, remote, and rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Ability to work during US business hours (with at least 4 hours of overlap).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in packaging, contract manufacturing, complex global supply chain, or a related creative services industry.
