Intermountain Health is looking for a Business Analyst Staff. This role reports to the Supervisor of the Central Business Unit (CBU) and is responsible for performing moderate to complex tasks within the claims platform, interfacing with system architects on benefit updates, and supporting system projects.

What You'll Do

Perform moderate to complex tasks within the claims platform.
Interface with system architects and corporate staff on benefit and contract updates.
Work on system projects to support resolution of issues.
Take responsibility for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope.
Contribute to and support the corporation's quality initiatives by planning, communicating, and encouraging team and individual contributions toward quality improvement efforts.

What We're Looking For

5-8 years of claims processing or system set-up experience, with managed care preferred.
A High School Diploma or GED is required; some college is preferred.
General knowledge of provider contracts, fee schedules, and payment methodologies.
Knowledge of health plan benefit interpretation and set up.
Knowledge of current compliance legislation.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Strong problem-solving skills.
