PG&E is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Strategy & Growth business unit, embedded directly with the Strategic Commercial Solutions (SCS) Program Management team. This role requires a precise and detail-oriented individual passionate about delivering accurate, quality results to support the group, lead initiatives, and drive department improvements.
What You'll Do
- Perform analysis on highly complex data models with cross-functional impact.
- Develop innovative data solutions to address complex business issues and present findings to leaders.
- Develop business cases in support of strategy or change initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional projects or initiatives.
- May provide direction and coaching to other Business Analysts.
- Manage tactical implementation plans and link them to summary dashboards.
- Pull data from SAP, studies, and other diverse sources and synthesize into cohesive reports.
- Create unique presentations for PG&E Directors and Officers.
- Manage WOR and MOR presentations and metric reporting for MORs and CMR.
- Manage various reports, trackers, and ad hoc requests from leadership.
- Manage contract accruals for the department as needed.
- Manage and update the Power BI database and organize Sharepoint.
- Support Program Managers and other staff on initiatives and customer needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of related work experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in and pulling information from SAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create Excel Macros.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across departments in a matrixed organization.

Benefits & Compensation
- Eligibility to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
- Bay Area salary range: $122,000.00 (minimum) - $158,000.00 (midpoint) - $194,000.00 (maximum).
