This role brings together business analysis and change management to connect technical delivery with customer objectives. You'll work across software development and data science initiatives, ensuring solutions meet real-world needs while driving measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and expectations
- Elicit, document, and prioritise both functional and non-functional needs using agile techniques such as user stories, epics, and product backlogs
- Develop and manage business change plans, identifying shifts needed in processes, systems, and working methods
- Lead acceptance testing activities, planning and executing validation to confirm solutions meet intended outcomes
- Monitor benefits realisation throughout the lifecycle, ensuring projected improvements are achieved post-deployment
- Apply structured change methodologies to guide teams and users through transitions, adapting communication to different audiences
- Assess risks related to implementation, evaluating impact and likelihood while defining mitigation strategies
- Ensure customer teams are fully prepared to operate new services upon handover
- Support agile environments with iterative delivery practices, integrating feedback and evolving requirements
What We Look For
Proven experience in gathering and analysing business requirements, with a structured approach to managing change. You should be skilled in translating high-level objectives into deliverable solutions and have a track record of aligning technical outcomes with business value.
Experience with benefits management frameworks, risk assessment, and service acceptance practices is highly valued. Familiarity with government or public sector projects, particularly in law enforcement or secure environments, is an advantage.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with flexibility in scheduling around core collaboration hours. Team members are expected to attend office locations—Salford Quays, London, or Malvern/Cheltenham—for agreed in-person days and may occasionally travel to customer sites across the UK.
