Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, subject matter experts in finance, and technical delivery teams.
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and explore domain-specific challenges in capital markets and finance.
- Convert intricate business demands into clear functional specifications, data structures, and workflow diagrams.
- Apply expertise in financial services to assess requirement validity, ensure strategic alignment, and uncover potential gaps.
- Support business functions including trading operations, risk analysis, regulatory compliance, asset management, and financial reporting.
- Examine and evaluate large datasets, both structured and unstructured, to identify patterns and data characteristics.
- Record business logic, performance metrics, and reporting needs for implementation in contemporary data systems.
- Partner with Data Engineering on designing and refining ETL/ELT workflows, data lakehouse patterns, and storage architectures.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams on cloud-based transformation projects using platforms like AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Help transition systems from outdated infrastructures to current data platforms while maintaining operational stability and data accuracy.
- Take part in verifying solutions, conducting user acceptance testing, and confirming achievement of business goals.
- Establish criteria for data quality monitoring, implement validation rules, and support data governance initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to financial industry regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
- Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, customer domain SMEs, and technical teams.

- Translate complex business needs into functional requirements, data models, and process flows.
- Leverage finance and capital markets domain knowledge to validate requirements, ensure business alignment, and identify gaps.
- Support use cases across trading, risk, compliance, asset management, regulatory reporting, and financial analytics.
- Analyze and profile large volumes of structured and unstructured financial data.
- Document business rules, KPIs, and reporting requirements for modern data platforms.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipelines, medallion architectures, data lakes, and warehouses.
- Work closely with engineering teams on cloud-based modernization initiatives (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
- Assist in migration from legacy platforms to modern data platforms, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
- Participate in solution validation, UAT, and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
- Define data quality rules, validation checks, and contribute to data governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
