About the Role

UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring a Business Analyst to provide technical and operational support for information systems within our client community. You will develop and enhance system capabilities based on user needs, with a focus on Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically in Talent Management and Workforce Compensation. This role is pivotal in coordinating efficient operational controls and functional improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Collect and interpret specifications to develop new and revise existing software applications.
  • Assist managers with developing and implementing operational plans for business applications, including preparing user specifications.
  • Coordinate testing of new and changed applications to ensure data integrity and quality while assisting with user training.
  • Compile comprehensive policies and operational procedures to communicate Information Resources issues to management.
  • Assist in developing new administrative procedures that utilize new system functionality.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business Information Resources strategies to improve operational processing and productivity.
  • Monitor specification development and establish priorities for project design and testing.
  • Review, develop, recommend, and implement activities related to assigned programs.
  • Maintain and track accounts assigned to projects or programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • 3 years of progressively responsible business systems and/or Information Technology project experience, with exposure to systems or project development, testing, installation, and training.
