SCUSA Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is hiring a Brine Attendant for a 5 am shift to maintain the quality and appearance of our cheese products. In this role, you will operate and maintain our brine systems, ensuring they meet our high standards for food safety and product consistency.
What You'll Do
- Operate brine tanks by filling and emptying cheese.
- Maintain proper brine levels and wash brine lines.
- Complete salinity checks, core temperature readings, and product and brine sampling.
- Maintain and clean all related equipment.
- Appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals.
- Follow good sanitation, housekeeping practices, GMPs, SOPs, and food safety policies.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months of related experience or training.
- Ability to read and understand instructions.
- Proficient computer use and solid organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manipulate, lift, and position heavy equipment and regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work in a cold environment.
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, and perform continuous walking and standing.
- Requires regular attendance.
