At Porch Group, we're looking for a Brand Creative Lead to define and execute the visual identity for our portfolio of brands. You'll champion brand voice, manage external creative talent, and pioneer the use of Generative AI to produce high-quality assets at speed. This role acts as a builder, tester, and strategist ensuring design drives measurable response.
What You'll Do
- Set creative strategy and visual identity across primary brands, ensuring adherence to distinct personalities while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Translate high-level business goals into compelling visual narratives and ensure each asset supports the brand mission.
- Act as the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual tone across all campaigns, web pages, and channels.
- Personally develop and execute creative assets using traditional design software and advanced AI toolsets.
- Develop creative for a wide ecosystem including website UI/UX visuals, email marketing, paid media, and print collateral.
- Manage and direct external designers and agencies, defining standards and ensuring output quality.
- Own the creative testing roadmap (A/B testing), constantly iterating to optimize for response, click-throughs, and conversion.
- Master the creative brief process from intake and interpretation to strategy and final execution.
- Partner with product and sales teams to advise on the most effective creative approaches for their specific channels.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years experience helping brands build creative identities, creative development, and campaign support.
- Proven experience leading creative for service-based brands, translating intangible value into visual storytelling, and creating/enforcing brand guidelines.
- Deep technical experience across mediums including Web design, HTML5, Video/Motion Graphics, Illustration, and Photography.
- Experience interpreting performance data and translating analytics into design improvements.
- Deep experience in developing channel-based creative, particularly for social platforms.
- Strong passion for AI development and experience in prompting and utilizing tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, Runway Gen-2, Adobe Firefly, or similar.
- Strong grasp of industry best practices for performance creative (platform specs, accessibility-conscious design, conversion-focused layout patterns).
- Exceptional ability to distill complex requirements into clear, conceptual creative briefs.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to defend creative choices using logic and strategy.
- A quiet workspace and an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
- A laptop (or desktop computer) and an internet connection that meet minimum requirements.
