Community Bank (My100 Bank) is looking for a Branch Lending & Operations Representative to serve as a key point of customer contact, processing financial transactions and supporting the full loan lifecycle. This role combines operational excellence with customer relationship management to drive branch success.
What You'll Do
- Open new consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs.
- Prepare new loan requests for submission and review loan files for completeness.
- Order supporting documentation, process draw requests and loan payments, and close and fund loans.
- Track and monitor all required loan documentation, clearing collateral and credit exceptions.
- Assist in entering loan data into the origination system and submit completed Loan Origination Memorandums.
- Pull maturity and past due reports to ensure portfolio health.
- Assess customer needs to cross-sell appropriate bank products and refer business to company subsidiaries.
- Follow up on referrals and resolve customer concerns to ensure effective problem resolution.
- Provide ancillary services such as notary services and respond to customer inquiries.
- Support branch goals, manage telephone inquiries professionally, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
- Complete all required BSA/AML and other compliance training.
What We're Looking For
- Equivalent of four years in high school plus specialized training equal to two years of college.
- 12 to 18 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
- Knowledge of a specialized field such as basic accounting or computers.
- Ability to read policy manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively in person, small groups, and before audiences.
- Strong mathematical ability to calculate figures, percentages, interest, and apply concepts like fractions and ratios.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from technical instructions.
- Intermediate skills in 10-Key, Accounting, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing/Typing.
- Basic skills in Alphanumeric Data Entry, Contact Management, and Database software.
- Ability to work in a moderate noise level environment and perform semi-repetitive, low physical work.
- Frequently required to sit, use hands, talk, or hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and frequently lift up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Nice to Have
- 1 year previous loan or loan documentation experience.
- Knowledge of consumer and commercial loan applications such as DecisionPro and nCino.
- Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to organize multiple priorities.
- Strong proof-reading skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and basic computer proficiency.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position. You may be required to work at an alternative location within the region or market.
