About the Role
The professional will lead the development and supervision of individualized behavior support programs, conduct assessments, train caregivers, and monitor progress using data-driven methods.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses
- Supervise registered behavior technicians and other support staff
- Train parents, caregivers, and educators in behavior strategies
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress
- Revise treatment plans based on ongoing assessment outcomes
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Provide feedback and recommendations during team meetings
- Support skill acquisition across communication, social, and daily living domains
- Conduct regular progress reviews with stakeholders
- Address behavioral crises with proactive and responsive strategies
- Promote generalization of skills across environments
- Ensure services align with client and family goals
- Maintain ongoing communication with referral sources
- Participate in professional development and training
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards
- Coordinate scheduling with families and team members
- Adhere to BACB guidelines and state regulations
- Use evidence-based practices in all interventions
- Support transition planning for school or community integration
- Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions
- Monitor fidelity of implementation by support staff
- Engage in quality assurance reviews
Nice to Have
- Experience in school-based settings
- Training in crisis prevention and management
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Background in pediatric behavioral health
- Bilingual communication skills
- Experience mentoring trainees or RBTs
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing procedures
- Prior work in home-based ABA programs
- Certification in trauma-informed care
- Participation in research or program evaluation
