Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavioral treatment plans for children with autism
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor and document client progress and outcomes
- Provide direct therapy to clients as needed
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Conduct skill acquisition programs
- Provide consultation and support to educational and community settings
- Participate in ongoing professional development
- Maintain certification and licensure requirements
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide supervision and mentorship to students and trainees
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients and staff
