About the Role
The administrator will oversee the BMC Helix environment, providing technical support, system monitoring, and configuration management to ensure reliable service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues within the BMC Helix platform
- Perform regular system updates and apply patches as needed
- Configure and maintain integrations between BMC Helix and other enterprise tools
- Support incident management by diagnosing and resolving platform-related problems
- Administer user roles, permissions, and access controls
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement service management improvements
- Maintain system documentation for configurations and procedures
- Assist in onboarding new users and providing technical guidance
- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements
- Optimize workflows within the BMC Helix environment
- Participate in change management processes for system modifications
- Respond to service requests and support tickets promptly
- Conduct environment health checks and performance tuning
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing activities
- Manage system backups and data retention policies
- Track and report on system uptime and service metrics
- Coordinate with vendors for support and escalation
- Implement automation where possible to reduce manual effort
- Assist in testing new features and functionality
- Maintain awareness of platform release cycles and roadmap
