Celestica is hiring a Senior BIOS Lead Engineer to develop, debug, test, deploy, and support BIOS/UEFI firmware code for a range of applications. In this role, you will work within cross-functional teams to ensure robust product development and enhance designs based on feedback from manufacturing, supply chain, and other domains.
What You'll Do
- Define and build Celestica BIOS common features and modules, and develop corresponding feature specifications and implementation guides.
- Collaborate with IBVs and lead cross-team efforts to develop BIOS, investigate and fix issues for production, and implement all BIOS features on schedule.
- Work closely with related vendors to drive their products and technologies to meet Celestica's requirements.
- Consider customer requirements to develop customized features and provide high-quality service.
What We're Looking For
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- 10+ years of experience in BIOS/UEFI firmware development.
- Deep understanding of x86 architecture and PC industry standards such as PCIe, ACPI, JEDEC, USB, ATA, IPMI, and Redfish.
- Good experience with BIOS/UEFI firmware frameworks and code structure, and/or IBV BIOS code like AMI, Insyde, or Phoenix project code.
- Familiarity with Intel PI SPEC, EDK I, and EDK II.
- Excellent debug and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability).
